What a B-day

Sunday was my birthday. Aside from the usual affair- great food, family, raclette, cheescake, etc., I was privy to two special gifts this year. First off, As far as I can remember, it's never been 15 degrees and sunny on November 7th. What a day! Second, I won gold in my age category at the Manitoba Cyclocross Provincial Championship! Definitely a fantastic day.

Nice riding. So what's next? A road or crit medal?

Thanks guys!! Kev- you've had raclette? Sweet! We unfortunately don't often get the official cheese although I believe DeLuca's does sell it... I think we had JalapeƱo, Havarti, and Monterey jack. still good though!

We have a Swiss friend, so we first had it in Switzerland. The cheese is stupid expensive (but we splurge some times.) Cheddar or Mozzarella works fine too.

It's in my top 5 fav meals.

Before the Nordic Cross there is one race left, expect something a little different...

Happy B-day by the way.
